|
I was born in Iran and educated in England and Australia.
My surgical training started
at the Orthopaedic unit of The London Hospital, a pioneering
centre for hip and knee
arthroplasty. In 1996 I emigrated to Australia where I
completed my training in
orthopaedic surgery. I was awarded the fellowship of the Royal
Australasian college
of surgeons in 2004. I spent a further twelve months
subspecialising in the surgery
of the hip and knee, first here in Sydney and subsequently at
the Exeter Hip unit
which is one of the premier centres for hip surgery in the
world.
